- triggering an escape: the unconscious uses this image to lead the dreamer to abandon his past view, ingrained ideas and to lead him to a new world (see Apocalypse archetype).
- in a hotel milieu: usually relates to past lives (the nationalities of people can indicate the country in which the incarnation took place); see Past and Future Visions archetype.
- personified evil often appears in massacres (see Shadow archetype).
