Massacre

  • a frequent theme of some archetypes and a single dream can penetrate several archetypes at once.
  • filled with sexual images: these can be important experiences based on the dreamer's inner healing (see Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype).
  • triggering an escape: the unconscious uses this image to lead the dreamer to abandon his past view, ingrained ideas and to lead him to a new world (see Apocalypse archetype).
  • in a hotel milieu: usually relates to past lives (the nationalities of people can indicate the country in which the incarnation took place); see Past and Future Visions archetype.
  • personified evil often appears in massacres (see Shadow archetype).
