- if the image of the subway is accompanied by e.g. an opening gates, narrow spaces or water, then this is the dreamer's entrance to prenatal and birth experiences; blocked subway spaces symbolizing biological waste in the birth canal are among similar experiences (see the Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype).
