- an occupying army: it's time to abandon old thinking and to set out with a new awareness on the adventurous path through the unconscious; it usually tries to make the dreamer's stay in a certain area unpleasant, or even tries to expel him from there, thus fulfilling the essence of the Apocalypse archetype.
- liberation of the land from the occupants: while occupation directs the dreamer's development toward the Apocalypse archetype (making for harsh living and expelling the dreamer from a certain area), liberation has the Hero archetype in its scenario.
