The Dream Book of Self-Knowledge

Decoration

  • anything that decorates the dreamer or other people strengthens the ego and prevents a smooth self-improvement process; such decorations can also symbolize a certain partner relationship.
  • broken decoration of the dreamer or of others: the way out of the cocoon of egotism; a path to the emotional content of the mind.
  • decorated objects or decorated architectural components (in the sense of artistically rendered): express the dreamer's state of being (see the Self archetype).
  • decoration of rooms or decorated architectural components (in the sense of artistically rendered): express the dreamer's state of being and is a celebration of a newly achieved state (see the Self archetype).
  • Christmas decoration: especially in sphere-shapes this understanding of completeness and unity can lead the dreamer to the birth and understanding of the state of Christ; yet for this to happen there is also the need for the dreamer's antithetical part to also achieve a similar understanding (the anima with men and the animus with women) and for the entire dream image to relate to the dreamer's birthplace.
