Sex

even though sexuality in dreams is usually replaced by countless substitutional sexual and erotic symbols, it often appears in dreams in an open form.
desire for sex: as an instinctual desire essentially affecting the dreamer's ego; therefore succumbing to lust clearly belongs on the instinctual level of living.
growing intimate with someone clearly indicates the sexual nature of the dream.
sexual dream images: reveal the dreamer's hidden desires as well as his inner conflict on the instinctual level.
sexual petting: see Cuddling.
sexual offers: only imposed on the dreamer by instinctual personifications.
seeing or experiencing: the unconscious desire for sensuality and pleasure, discontent with one's sexual life; the temptations that an emotional and spiritual person should resist.
eroticism and sex while bathing: the dreamer is unable to maintain the purity of the emotional content of his own mind and draws instinctual images into it; these images usually result in a fall to the instinctual sphere in which emotions no longer dominate.
erotic images and sexual scenes in the WC room or bathroom: the result of uncontrolled moral cleansing.
sexual and pornographic pictures: an attack of animality; the subconscious longing for the fulfillment of sensual desires; if they are not a metaphorical image from waking consciousness, then it consists of an emotional outlet of part of the prenatal experience (see Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype).
sexual deviation: represents the dreamer's unique chance to confront point blank his own subconscious desires; see Deviation.
aggressive: aggression is in many ways linked to sexuality, homosexuality*⁴⁸, sadism and masochism; aggression therefore often turns into sexual assault which is explained in detail in the Anima – Animus archetype.
sexual symbols and images, sexual temptation in corridors and in other narrow or enclosed places: belongs to the Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype; the pressure of the fetus in passing through the birth canal causes sexual images in the child's consciousness; this is the first contact of the "unborn child" with sexuality in which both male and female homosexuality are semantically set at the same level as heterosexual intercourse, since they come from the same essence – from the lower instinctual nature.
also enters into the self-knowledge process through important symbols that unite antitheses of the male and female component of the psyche: hermaphrodite*¹⁹, homosexuality and incest*⁶¹ (see Hermaphrodite, see Homosexuality and see Incest).
a role that is as important as male homosexuality in dream sexuality is female homosexuality – and not only in lesbians.
love-making as well as masturbation: on the one hand it releases from within excessive sexual energy, but as a result increases the dreamer's sexual dependency; this scene is a clearly instinctual one.
climax (ecstasy): does not in any way belong to the spiritual level; instead belongs to the instinctual and emotional level and does not touch upon higher realms through the unconscious; the experience of ecstasy is then inevitably pulled back to the body through instinctual thinking where it is discharged in an emotional-sexual experience.
suffering during birth changes into sexual climax: see Birth pain.
ritual sexual union: see Ritual.
before an altar: a warning of the domination of instincts over emotions and reason; a ritual root of Satanism in which the opposite of the divine is worshipped; see Treasure archetype.
all possible ways of a sexual life are latent in everyone's mind and if we want to get to our core, we must pass through these aspects even though they may seem vile and low; it is entirely inappropriate to condemn one's dream perversity according to the so-called moral judges of our society; it is better to understand the essence of the creation of perverse sexuality, the essence of the human urge for sexual acts then, without condemnation or outrage, to nullify with indifference the power of sexuality and instincts over oneself.
seeing sex with a child or even engaging in it: absolutely erroneous idea of the process of unification; a serious warning since the wrong idea could end in deviation that threatens to erupt in waking consciousness and negatively affect the dreamer's life; a child, even if he does not take part in the image of sexual desire, knows how to set a critical mirror to the dreamer's sexuality.
child pornography: expresses the dreamer's subconscious and hidden desire for unusual relationships with the instinctual anima or animus, for relationships that end with the unification (of the child); a misunderstanding of the meaning of these symbols in the unconscious can lead to a desire for children's bodies in waking consciousness and to an attempt at sexual gratification from them – the root of child pornography is hidden here.
sexual dreams with a castration theme: see Castration.
images of a son and mother tinged with open sexuality or by less conspicuous sexual symbols: the role of every man (son) and woman (mother) is to understand and overcome the Oedipus complex*⁴⁹ and, in unifying antithetical emotional components of his own mind, to disregard the material level of experience since this always ends in sexual dependencies.
images of daughter and father tinged with open sexuality or by less conspicuous sexual symbols: the role of every man (father) and woman (daughter) is to understand and overcome the Electra complex*⁵⁰ and in unifying antithetical emotional components of his own mind to disregard the material level of experience since this always ends in sexual dependencies.
becoming aware of dangerous sexual images, symbols and temptation: an important step toward permanent life on the emotional and later spiritual level.
a girl or boy with an indifferent attitude to sex and nakedness: emotional anima or emotional animus.
while in everyday instinctual life sexual activity drains the male organism and energizes the woman, on an emotional level the transferal of energy works in the opposite way, i.e. the female emotional component brimming with emotion passes emotional energy to the man who lacks it (see Coniunctio archetype).
sexual arousal is transformed into thermal energy: sexuality can be eliminated through a transformation of sexual energy*²⁷.
overcoming, controlling a sexual urge: once a person is able to wilfully control his own lust, he acquires enormous power over his own inner urges that a normally living person is unable to even notice (see Self archetype).
refusing, an attempt to resist temptation: the dreamer has realized the degradation of feelings and the risk of moral decline on the level of instinctual living, which is enabling him to return to the arms of emotional experience.
if seen sexual images or temptation cause thirst in the dreamer instead of sexual desire, then emotional content prevails within him to the detriment of instinctual content, most of which is transformed into emotions.
the path to liberation from pornographic dreams and from sex in dreams is the radical limitation of sexual desire with occasional refusal which has to be gradually replaced by indifference; definitive liberation comes when the dreamer is able to absorb, understand and compassionately assimilate experiences arising from birth itself, which triggers everyone's sexuality (see Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype).
a person should come to the realization that physical sex is the lowest love; above sex and completely separate from it is emotional love, and above the emotional love exalted by poets is compassion, which is universal love.
accumulated and a sudden flare up of sexuality causes the unification of male and female antitheses (anima – animus) in a single ecstasy of a controlled trance; such unification is, however, very risky since a person then seeks supramundane states in sex and instinctual weights pull him down from spiritual and from emotional experiences (see Anima – Animus archetype).
