- some spiritually advanced people are able to see imps even in waking consciousness (e.g. Buddha called imps "essential"), slightly less perceptive people might notice imps in dreams; at any rate, they need to be dealt with as actual beings that merely occupy a different level of consciousness, a level that we people are usually unable to notice.
