- of a city: the goal of an earthly person and the central position of earthly events.
- the axis passing through a geometrical center: see Geometry.
- of a space (sometimes even of an object): may symbolize the intended objective of efforts, especially if the center is beautiful or even emits light.
- absolute center (especially of round objects): we can find here a "timeless" point in which all ideas collapse; a breaking point from which we can see everything in absolute unity without antitheses (see Circle).
