- permanent ice and snow: the closest semblance to the spiritual world in which there are no smells and colors lose their meaning; a world in which we do not need any dream objects, in which all emotional experiences lose their meaning since white spiritual purity becomes the only content of virginal consciousness.
- flooded with sunlight: the instinctual essence of the land and everything arising from it is illuminated with the emotional aspect of the male nature.
