The Dream Book of Self-Knowledge

Tin

  • symbolizes malleability and the ability to easily change one's essence (as solid tin that changes its state at 230°C).
  • tin-soldered joints: these are conductive, from which new wholes are then created in the connection or disconnection of various aspects of the human mind; they therefore symbolize inner communication.
  • casting tin into molds: news expected by the dreamer.
  • tin objects: based on the strength and quality of the tin, they symbolize a certain degree of impermanence (fragility, rust) as well as the limited power of the symbol over the dreamer.
  • throwing tin objects away at the recycling dump: the image symbolizes the end of certain emotional bonds or relationships, which is positive for the future since the next processing of this raw material (melting) will symbolize the process of forming new relationships.
  • rusty tin objects: symbolize fleeting hatred and the limited power of the symbol over the dreamer.
  • reflecting an image or light: see Reflection.
  • rusty: the unconscious is warning the dreamer of broad hatred for people (and for himself), of hatred which could bring far-reaching and tragic consequences for the dreamer's life.
  • covering something with tin: this image expresses a temporary solution of a problem that the dreamer will have to return to in time and definitively resolve.
  • standing on tin panels, plates: a warning of your current way of life; the unconscious is showing the dreamer, in the dream itself, the way out of current problems.
  • massive tin objects or sheet metal plates: see Metal.
