*67 The Holy Trinity

*67 The Holy Trinity. From time immemorial the trinity is the symbol of true unity. The Trinity*74 is expressed in the Bible by the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; spiritualists understand the trinity  as the mind, body and spirit; science would call it energy, matter and anti-matter; temporally, it would be expressed as the future, present and past. The Trinity accompanies us (usually unnoticed) through life and the unconscious teaches us to at least subconsciously grasp this importance aspect of existence. Hinduism is also aware of the divine trinity (Trimurti). Brahma is an analogy of the Christian God the Creator and is the initial cause of the manifested universe. Vishnu is God the Preserver, creating and preserving the essence of the world. Shiva is the most revered God the Destroyer who is a personification of transformative cosmic forces. Shiva is the founder of yoga and is therefore also the path out the ceaseless karmic cycle of rebirth*75.
